Training Jutte
A jutte (十手) is a traditional Japanese martial arts weapon, historically used by Edo-period law enforcement. It consists of a short baton with a single side hook, designed to control, trap, or disarm an opponent’s weapon—particularly a sword—without causing lethal harm.
This training jutte is handcrafted, combining traditional form with modern fabrication techniques. With an overall length of approximately 18 inches, this piece is designed for balance, durability, and everyday practice or display.
